(N)EVER AFTER — 2016

This graduation project is a poster installation that argues the value of information and questions the practice of Graphic Design. Is Graphic Design doomed to become as instant as the news has apparently become?

(N)EVER AFTER celebrates the future of the poster as an ephemeral design object but also discusses what is valuable information.

The Public Space: The series of 9 screen- printed A1 posters is glued on a wall of 2,5 X 6,25 meters. The wall is made of 3 parts: standard glueing, light decay (UV- light installation), rain decay (waterfall installation).

The Designer Space: This part includes a computer with access to the digital archive of (N)ever After, the publication that dissects the poster system (each copy being unique) and the physical archive (including all prints of the posters saved in poster tubes and special framed prints).
