Conception of a lettering for the Beastie Boys’ album Hello Nasty (1998).

The lettering is inspired by the very anecdote that gave its name to the album. The album was named after the welcoming message the secretary at Nasty Little Man (Public relations agency) would give everytime she would pick up the phone. Therefore, the design of these sleeves is directly referring to the idea of phone wires.
Later on, the lettering was developped into a script typeface, Nasty Script.
